Pray With Us This Lent

"A clean heart create for me, God, and renew within me your steadfast spirit." - Psalm 51:12
Pray with us this Lent! Lent is a forty day season where we purify our hearts and prepare for the Passion, Death, and Resurrection of our Lord. As Father Kevin mentioned in his bulletin article, this season is call to pray, fast, and give alms.

There are many beautiful ways to live these three Lenten practices well, and we as a parish are hosting some great opportunities if you need some ideas!

Dive Into Prayer

  • Eucharistic Adoration: Come visit our Lord in the Eucharist! Eucharistic Adoration is from 8am to 8pm each Thursday; all are welcome to stay for as much or as little time as you can, no commitment required. Make this Lent a time to spend time with the Lord!
  • Liturgy of the Hours: Also known as the prayer of the Church! Every Tuesday at 6pm.
  • Stations of the Cross: Every Friday at 7pm, join us as we walk with Jesus through the Stations of the Cross. This devotion allows us to enter into the Passion of Our Lord as we prepare for Holy Week.
  • Eucharistic Miracle Display: Our parish is very excited to be hosting a Eucharistic Miracle display created by recently-beatified Blessed Carlo Acutis. Stop by the Community Room between Thursday, February 15 and Sunday, February 18th to ignite your love for the Eucharist and learn about the beautiful ways our Lord has made Himself known in the Eucharist throughout the world! Learn more about the display and Blessed Carlo Acutis' life here!

  • Armchair Pilgrimage: For many centuries the islands of Iona in Scotland, and Lindisfarne, in England, have been places of pilgrimage in the spirit of Celtic Spirituality.
