Hello, my name is Kathy Clark. I have been honored to teach elementary music in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee for more than 40 years with many of those years at St. Alphonsus.
I grew up on the south side of Milwaukee where I attended St. Matthew’s Grade School and St. John Cathedral High School. Throughout those years, music was always a favorite subject as I participated in choirs, theater, and took piano lessons.
I received my Bachelor of Music degree from Alverno College and have continued to take classes in education and music throughout the years.
In my free time, I enjoy traveling with my husband – I always need a ticket or reservation to somewhere! My favorite travels have included visiting many states in the U.S., Germany, and New Zealand. I also enjoy gardening and trying recipes from the Great British Baking Show. We have two daughters who are also educators – Shannon (an educator in the Cudahy School District) and Elizabeth (a wine educator for Adelsheim Winery in Portland Oregon).
I truly feel blessed to work at St. Alphonsus where I can share my faith, musical ability, and love of teaching with a great Encore Unit and wonderful and supportive staff and families.
