Hello, my name is Robin Bruhn. I am the Director of Teaching and Learning here at St. Alphonsus. My role is to support both teachers and students. I help teachers find the resources they need, provide learning support for students, and oversee our standardized testing program. I have been teaching for 20 years. Almost all of my teaching has been at Catholic schools in Milwaukee and Racine. I have worked with students in grades K-8 either as a classroom teacher or reading interventionist. My husband and I were married at St. Alphonsus and our children were baptized here as well. We are active members of All Saints Catholic Church in the central city.
My family and I live right next door in Greenfield. My husband and I have 2 children – a daughter and a son. We also have 2 wonderfully, cuddly, and very spoiled pitbull mixes.
My hobbies include lots and lots of reading, taking walks with my family, family game and movie nights, and doing jigsaw puzzles. My favorite genres to read are middle grade and young adult fiction as well as historical fiction. I love being able to share my passion for reading with students and recommending great books to them.
I am blessed to be a part of the St. Al's community!
