Thank you for choosing to volunteer your time and talent at St. Alphonsus Parish. With that in mind, St. Alphonsus follows the Archdiocesan guidelines for “Safeguarding All God’s Family”.
It is imperative and required that all adults who work with children as volunteers, or chaperone any field trips, complete the three-tiered process.
This process includes:
- A criminal background check (can be found on-line on the Parish Website - Safeguarding link or obtained from the school office.
- Acknowledgement of having read the Code of Ethical Standards. The Code of Ethical Standards can be read on-line on the school website. Once read, you may print the last page and sign and return to the school office. If you do not have the ability to print the form, please contact the school office and a copy will be sent via backpack mail.
- Completion of a 2-1/2 hour seminar called “Safeguarding All God’s Family.”
Simply log on to our parish website www.st-alphonsus.org, click on Safeguarding in the tan block on the left hand side of the page, and then click on Register for Safeguarding Classes.
