Our School Community is Growing!
Come visit and see what makes us unique!
St. Alphonsus Parish maintains a school which teaches 3K through 8th grade. We have served the communities of Greendale, Franklin, Hales Corners, Greenfield and Milwaukee for almost 75 years and are experiencing renewed growth in our 4K classes with our enrollment climbing toward 60 students. We now have a staff of three teachers and two aides to meet the needs of our children. Along with growth in our younger learners, we are also expanding our Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math areas in grades 5-8 by utilizing the STEM program--Gateway to Technology. This is the precursor to the high school program called Project Lead the Way. In this program, students explore the STEM subjects in module, hands-on learning that encourages team work, creative ways of problem solving, and brings abstract ideas into practical focus for our students.
Our staff strives to meet each child's individual learning needs by working as learning teams to accomplish this.
