Finding Your Way Around Our Parish

The St. Alphonsus Parish grounds contain three buildings.

1. The Parish Ministry Center houses the Parish Offices, and the offices for the pastors, the Administration Department, the Christian Formation Department and the Liturgy Department.  In addition, there is space in this building for the Youth Activity Room.

2. The Outreach Building houses offices for the Volunteer Missionary Movement and the Interfaith_ Southwest Neighborhood Outreach to Older Adults. In addition, there is space in this building  the Greendale Food Pantry.

3. The Church and School Building is a combined facility which houses the prayer space for the community, the parish school, and the Life Long Learning Center.

The prayer space consists of the community's worship space, a Blessed Sacrament chapel, and two Reconciliation chapels. In addition, there is a small gathering space where the baptismal font is located as well as a Resource Room which has religious books, audio and video tapes which parishioners are encouraged to borrow.

The school consists of offices and classrooms for grades K4 through 8, as well as a library, computer lab, science lab, art room, music room, and Spangler Hall which is the gym. During school hours the school building can only be entered from the North entrance.

The Life Long Learning Center is one floor of the west wing of the school building which has five rooms (named for various places in the Holy Land Bethlehem, Nazareth, Jerusalem, Jericho I, and Jericho II) where groups of all sizes and all ages meet for continuing religious formation and enrichment.
